Tuesdays - 6.15pm to 7:15pm

6:15pm start @ Creazione Gym, Caerphilly.
​Please arrive 5 minutes early for a session briefing


​Tempo:
4 mile route with shorter options if desired.
Mixed ability session that can be used as a tempo session or relaxed recovery run.

Benefits of Tempo Running:
  • Improves cardiovascular fitness
  • Improves ability to clear lactate efficiently
  • Improves running economy
  • Build mental toughness and confidence in running

Intervals:
Variety of distances and intensities. Mixed ability session which can easily be tailored to the individual runner by altering number of reps and rest periods.

  • Efficient way to boost speed and endurance
  • Time efficient way to improve aerobic capacity
  • Increases calorie burn (even when you are not exercising)
  • Adds variety to your training
